The full Riot Games soundtrack, anthems and band releases.

About music

Riot's music runs from in-client login themes to the virtual bands that chart on real streaming services. K/DA, Pentakill, True Damage and Heartsteel are all Riot releases performed by fictional acts, and the worlds those acts live in are built out in the skin lines and trailers indexed elsewhere here.

The soundtrack work is the older half and the less visible one. Every champion has a login theme, every region has a musical identity, and those identities are consistent enough that a piece can usually be placed by ear.

Ambient soundscapes composed for each zone sit alongside this section, built to play under a story rather than over it.

The band projects are a genuine crossover: written and produced as commercial music, performed by fictional acts, and charting against real releases. They have their own visual universes, their own trailers, and in several cases more cultural reach than the game they came from.

Underneath that sits the functional work — login themes, region themes, event scores, the music that plays while you wait. It is the least discussed part of the archive and the most consistently used, and it is where a region's identity was often settled before any story confirmed it.

How this index is filed

Every entry below is a work Riot published, linked to the original rather than summarised. The list is filtered the same way the rest of the Archive is: champion spotlights, cosmetic adverts, tournament recordings and storefront promos are filed out, so a search for music returns music and not a battle-pass trailer that happens to carry the same tag. What you see is the filtered set, not everything the database holds.

Each work is also filed by the zone it belongs to and placed on the in-world timeline, so the same entry can be reached three ways — by form here, by place from the zone pages, and by date from the timeline. Ordering here is by publication, newest first, which is the order Riot released them rather than the order they happen in.

The rest of the Archive

The archive is one set of works cut several ways. Music is one form; the indexes below hold the others, and every entry in all of them is filed by zone and placed on the in-world timeline.

The Archive of Runeterra is the full index, the timeline puts it in in-world order, and the codex wings describe the world these works are set in rather than the works themselves.
