Overview TFT Trailer: Ao Shin's Ascent is a Teamfight Tactics trailer released in September 2025, introducing a new TFT game mode. The Video Ao Shin's Ascent introduces a new game mode for TFT centered around the dragon Ao Shin, a mythological figure whose origins stretch back to League of Legends' earliest development history. Ao Shin was originally conceived as a champion years before he was finally realized as Aurelion Sol — the Star Forger — but the name and concept lingered in the community's consciousness. In TFT, Ao Shin appeared as a powerful dragon unit in Set 7: Dragonlands.
