Azir Reveal
Overview Azir Reveal is a Legends of Runeterra champion reveal for Azir, released in March 2021 as part of the Empires of the Ascended expansion. As the Emperor of Shurima and the expansion's central figure, Azir's reveal was one of the most anticipated champion introductions in LoR's history. The Story Azir was once a mortal emperor who dreamed of ascending and bringing eternal glory to Shurima. Betrayed by his closest friend Xerath at the moment of his Ascension, Azir was destroyed along with the entire Shuriman civilization in the resulting cataclysm .
