From Realms of Runeterra For the first time Khari could remember, flowers grew on the street leading from the town square to the Cut. Young Khari travels through Saikhal to fetch water from the Cut, a dried riverbed that has recently begun flowing again after Shurima 's fall. She carries a crudely repaired bowl from her grandmother that she had hidden damage on rather than admit her mistake. At the river, she encounters a golden-armored figure who reveals himself as Azir , the legendary Ascended. They converse, and when she inquires about his age, he shares his identity.
