Overview Mel is a Legends of Runeterra cinematic released in July 2025, featuring Mel as an Arcane-themed champion reveal for the card game. The Story Mel Medarda's arrival in Legends of Runeterra continues her expansion across Riot's game portfolio following her debut in League of Legends from Arcane Season 2. In the animated series, Mel evolved from a politically savvy Piltover councilor to a champion who discovered her own magical abilities — a mage in a city that simultaneously fears and depends on magic.
