Overview Viego , The Ruined King is an official cinematic from League of Legends, released in January 2021. The champion reveal cinematic for Viego. The Story Viego's reveal cinematic introduces the antagonist who had lurked behind League's lore for years — the unnamed Ruined King whose grief-fueled catastrophe created the Shadow Isles , the Black Mist, Thresh , Hecarim , and every undead horror that emerged from those cursed isles. Now he has a face, a name, and a purpose: to find the scattered fragments of Isolde's soul and reunite them, regardless of the cost.
