Overview Briar Champion Spotlight is an official champion spotlight for League of Legends, released in September 2023. The spotlight showcases Briar, the Restrained Hunger, a hemomancy-born vampire who must balance her insatiable appetite with her desire to understand the world beyond her cage. The Champion Born from the Black Rose's hemomancy experiments deep within Noxus , Briar was never meant to be a person — she was designed as a weapon. But the hemomancers created something they couldn't control: a being of pure hunger who lived only for her next bloody meal.
