The Demon's Hand
The Demon's Hand was League of Legends' first-ever seasonal minigame: a moody, motion-comic-wrapped roguelike card battler that drops the ancient darkin Atakhan at a card table across from a far-too-familiar Stranger.
You draw from a 52-card deck split into four custom suits — Sun, Stone, Moon, and Fire — and raise cards each turn to form an attack. The bigger and rarer the combination, the harder you hit, from a humble Solo all the way up to the run-defining hand the game is named for.
The depth lives in its Sigils: 73 collectible relics that warp the rules in your favor. You climb three maps and three difficulty tiers, inventing your own broken strategies — quick to pick up, brutal to master, and built for 'one more run.'
"Freed by LeBlanc after more than 1000 years of imprisonment, Atakhan is rampaging around Runeterra, looking to feed on carnage and bloodshed, and to reacclimate to a world it doesn't recognize. Eventually, Atakhan finds itself in a strange and unknown land, eyeing a lone man. The place feels out of time, and the man somehow... familiar. Atakhan joins him at the table, compelled by a force it doesn't understand."
