About Legends of Runeterra cards

The Legends of Runeterra card pool, indexed by region, cost and type. Legends of Runeterra is Riot's collectible card game set in Runeterra, and its cards are one of the largest bodies of Runeterra art and flavour text ever published — most of it appearing nowhere else.

⚠ The individual card pages are deliberately left out of the search index, because a card's text answers its own query in the snippet and the detail pages drew impressions at effectively no click-through. This index is kept for navigation; the cards themselves are best read in the client or in the archive entries they illustrate.

The value here is not competitive. It is that a card game needed hundreds of named characters, places and objects to fill a set, and the writers built them out of the world's existing corners — so the card pool doubles as the widest survey of minor Runeterra canon that exists.

For that reason the flavour text and the art are indexed alongside the lore they draw on rather than treated as game data.

Regions are the organising principle, and they are the same regions the rest of the archive uses. A card's region tells you where in Runeterra it belongs before its text tells you what it does, which makes the pool navigable as geography rather than only as a game.

Where this data comes from

Legends of Runeterra cards are read from Riot's own public data feeds rather than typed out or scraped from a wiki. That means an entry reflects the patch currently live: when Riot ships a change, the next collection run carries it, and nothing here is a hand-maintained copy that can quietly fall a season behind.

It also means the gaps are honest ones. Where Riot publishes no value for a field, this database shows none rather than guessing, and where a field exists only in one game's feed it is not invented for the others. The endpoints, their URL shapes and the versioning that governs them are documented in full in the Data Dragon and Community Dragon reference, including the two set identifiers a numeric loop silently skips.

The rest of the Legends of Runeterra database

The same data set, cut by kind. Cards is one section; the others below hold the rest of what Legends of Runeterra ships, read from the same source on the same patch.

Every entry in this database describes a character, object or place that belongs to Runeterra, and the archive carries the stories they come from. The Archive of Runeterra indexes those works, the timeline puts them in in-world order, and the Data Dragon reference documents the public endpoints this data is read from.
