Broken Blades
Overview Broken Blades is a cinematic for League of Legends released in June 2021, featuring Irelia and Riven . The cinematic explores the complex relationship between an Ionian resistance leader and a Noxian soldier haunted by the war she fought in. The Story Broken Blades brings together two of Ionia 's most emotionally charged figures — Irelia, the Blade Dancer who embodies Ionia's fierce resistance against Noxus , and Riven, the Noxian exile who broke her own sword in disgust after witnessing the chemical warfare her empire unleashed on Ionian soil.
