Overview Nocturne Reveal is an official cinematic from League of Legends, released in August 2020. A Legends of Runeterra champion reveal showcasing Nocturne's card and gameplay mechanics. The Story Nocturne's LoR reveal brings the Eternal Nightmare to the card game as a champion who thrives in Nightfall synergy — the Targon mechanic that rewards playing cards second in a round. In Legends of Runeterra, Nocturne reduces all enemy attack power when he attacks, creating a suffocating board state that embodies the terror of his lore: an ancient demon of fear that weakens its prey before striking.
