The cinematic features Annie and tells the origin story of the Dark Child through a short animated film. Set in Noxus . The Story ANNIE: Origins is one of League of Legends' most emotionally devastating pieces of storytelling. In under six minutes, it transforms Annie from a gameplay archetype — the cute but deadly fire mage — into a genuinely tragic figure.
