Wukong: Champion Spotlight
Overview The Wukong Champion Spotlight is an official gameplay preview for League of Legends, released in July 2011. The spotlight showcases the Monkey King's abilities and playstyle, following his cinematic introduction earlier that year. The Champion Wukong is a Vastayan trickster-warrior from Ionia who sought out human martial arts training — a choice that set him apart from many of his kind. While numerous Vastaya resent humanity's growing disconnection from the spirit realm, Wukong was drawn to the discipline and strength he saw in mortal fighters.
