Overview Naafiri : The Hound of a Hundred Bites is Naafiri's reveal trailer for League of Legends, released in June 2023. Set amid the shifting dunes of Shurima , it introduces one of the Darkin — the ancient god-warriors sealed away after they turned on Runeterra — through a hunt rather than a story. Where a Darkin blade like Aatrox seizes a single powerful host, Naafiri could find no worthy vessel and instead poured her essence into a pack of Shuriman dune hounds, becoming a predator that is never one but always many. The Story The trailer carries no plot in the conventional sense.
