Maokai: Champion Spotlight
Overview The Maokai Champion Spotlight is an official gameplay preview for League of Legends, released in February 2011. The spotlight introduces the Twisted Treant, a nature spirit corrupted by the magical catastrophe that created the Shadow Isles . The Champion Maokai is a living remnant of the Blessed Isles — the verdant, enchanted land that existed before the catastrophic Ruination transformed it into the nightmare realm now known as the Shadow Isles.
