Awaken
Overview Awaken is the League of Legends Season 2019 cinematic, released in January 2019 to open the ranked year. It is not a linear story but a montage set to an original anthem performed by Valerie Broussard, with soaring violin by Ray Chen and music produced alongside Alex Seaver of Mako. Across roughly three minutes it threads ten champions through three corners of Runeterra — Ionia , Noxus , and Piltover — as the drums of a new war begin to sound. Its through-line is the Noxian invasion of Ionia, though its parallel vignettes reach beyond that front.
