Varus: Heartlight

A Riot Games Universe one-shot digital comic released November 30, 2017 as part of Varus's lore rework, and the first act of a three-part narrative (followed by the 'As We Fall' music video and the Varus: Retribution comic). It tells the story of two Ionian hunters and lovers, Valmar and Kai, who call each other 'heartlight,' set against the Noxian invasion that drives them toward the mountain temple above the village of Pallas where the ancient darkin Varus lies imprisoned.
