Nami: Into the Abyss

In the seas near Mount Targon, a Vastayan tribe called the Marai are protected from abyssal terrors by the light of a moonstone, which each generation must be traded for an abyssal pearl retrieved by a chosen Tidecaller who dives into the rift below their village. When the appointed Tidecaller Rasho fails to return and the moonstone's light begins to dim, Nami, a headstrong young Marai who was denied the trial, takes her mother's staff and plunges into the abyss herself, returning with the pearl to save her people.
