Riot Games is officially developing a new Action RPG (ARPG) set in the world of Runeterra! Based on revealing new job listings and the ghost of the mysterious "Project F," we break down all the evidence pointing to Riot's next massive game. This could be the League of Legends ARPG we've been waiting for.
In this deep dive, we revisit the original Project F footage from the 10th Anniversary event and connect it to the recent job postings for Riot's Shanghai R&D studio. We analyze the roles for Combat Designers, Creative Directors, and Software Engineers to decode what this new game will be: a stylized, cooperative PvE experience built in Unreal Engine 5, potentially for both PC and Mobile.
How will Riot's ARPG stack up against giants like Diablo IV, Lost Ark, and Path of Exile? And when can we realistically expect to play it? We break down all the speculation and give our prediction for a potential reveal.
