This one is still on its way to RuneGrove. Watch it on YouTube.
Could we ever play as a Voidborn in the Riot MMO? And should we ever be powerful enough to fight a cosmic god like Aurelion Sol? In this lore deep dive and speculation video, we tackle two of the biggest questions facing the future of Runeterra.
First, we explore the fantasy of a playable Voidborn race. While playing as a true monster like Rek'Sai or Bel'Veth presents major lore and design challenges, we break down how a "void-touched" race, similar to Kai'Sa, could be the perfect solution for players who want to wield the power of the Void.
Next, we discuss the ultimate raid boss question: Aurelion Sol. We analyze his insane, star-forging power level and explain why a direct confrontation with a being of his cosmic scale would not only be impossible, but would trivialize the very lore that makes him so epic. Some gods are not meant to be slain.
