Delete your RuneGrove account
How to delete your RuneGrove account, in the app or on this page, and what happens to your data: what is deleted, what is anonymised, and what EntGrove LLC keeps and why.
RuneGrove is published by EntGrove LLC. You can delete your RuneGrove account in the RuneGrove app or on this page. Your RuneGrove account is also your GenieGrove account, so deleting one deletes both.
How to delete your account
- In the RuneGrove app: open Me, choose Delete account, and type your password.
- On this page: sign in, then confirm with your password.
- If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the address on the account.
What is deleted at once
- Your bookmarks, favourites and saved mini-game progress.
- Your notifications, email preferences and the devices we send notifications to.
- Your votes on comments, posts and replies, your likes and follows of tier lists, and every tier list of yours that is not published publicly.
- Your reading history, page visits, achievements and personal analytics.
- Your sign-in sessions, linked sign-in tokens, and any pending verification, password-reset or email-change codes.
What is anonymised
Your account record stays as an empty placeholder named deleted- and a number. We remove your email address, username, password, bio, picture, social links and linked Riot and Discord accounts, and the placeholder can never sign in again.
What happens to your posts and comments
Forum posts and replies, article comments and the public tier lists you published either stay, shown as by a deleted user, or are removed, as our current policy says; the delete screen tells you which before you confirm. Either way, nothing on them links back to you.
What we keep, and why
- Payment and subscription records, which EntGrove LLC keeps for accounting.
- Reports and moderation records, kept as evidence.
Grove+ and GenieGrove
If you have a Grove+ subscription, we cancel it first. If we cannot cancel it, nothing is deleted and we ask you to try again. GenieGrove removes its own data for the account at its next sweep.
