About Riftbound cards
Riftbound is Riot's physical trading card game set in Runeterra. The card list is indexed here by set, domain and type, covering the champions, units, spells and battlefields the game is played with.
A printed card game is a different constraint from a digital one — a card cannot be patched once it is in a box — so the design tends to be more conservative and the flavour writing more finished. The sets are self-contained in a way the digital pools never had to be.
As with the digital card game, the value beyond play is the volume of named Runeterra material a set requires and the art commissioned to go with it.
Domains are the organising axis, in place of the digital game's regions, and the mapping between the two is not one to one. Where a card corresponds to a character or place documented elsewhere in this archive, the entry links through to the written account.
A printed set is also a fixed historical record in a way nothing digital is. Once a set is in circulation its contents cannot change, which makes each release a dated snapshot of how Riot was presenting Runeterra at that moment — useful as chronology as well as as a card list.
Where this data comes from
Riftbound cards are read from Riot's own public data feeds rather than typed out or scraped from a wiki. That means an entry reflects the patch currently live: when Riot ships a change, the next collection run carries it, and nothing here is a hand-maintained copy that can quietly fall a season behind.
It also means the gaps are honest ones. Where Riot publishes no value for a field, this database shows none rather than guessing, and where a field exists only in one game's feed it is not invented for the others. The endpoints, their URL shapes and the versioning that governs them are documented in full in the Data Dragon and Community Dragon reference, including the two set identifiers a numeric loop silently skips.
The rest of the Riftbound database
Cards is the whole of the Riftbound data set here. The other games below carry their own.
Every entry in this database describes a character, object or place that belongs to Runeterra, and the archive carries the stories they come from. The Archive of Runeterra indexes those works, the timeline puts them in in-world order, and the Data Dragon reference documents the public endpoints this data is read from.
