Overview Rise of the Dark is an official cinematic for Wild Rift, released in January 2024. The cinematic features Syndra , the Dark Sovereign, showcasing her overwhelming magical power as she arrives on the Wild Rift roster. The Story Syndra is one of the most powerful mages in Ionia — and one of the most dangerous. Born with immense magical potential, she was raised in a remote Ionian village and trained by an elder named Konigen, who secretly worked to suppress her powers rather than teach her to control them.
