The Empress and the Frog
Overview The Empress and the Frog is an official cinematic for Teamfight Tactics, released in March 2024. The animated short features Morgana in a fairy tale-inspired narrative for TFT Set 11. The Video TFT's animated cinematics often reimagine League champions through playful narrative lenses, and "The Empress and the Frog" gives Morgana a fairy tale twist. In canon lore, Morgana is the Fallen — the twin sister of Kayle who rejected her celestial heritage to walk among mortals, binding her own wings in chains as a symbol of solidarity with human suffering.
