Vel'Koz: Champion Spotlight
Overview The Vel'Koz Champion Spotlight is an official gameplay preview for League of Legends, released in February 2014. The spotlight follows the First Contact reveal cinematic, showcasing the Eye of the Void 's devastating abilities on the Rift. The Champion Vel'Koz is the Void's observer — an ancient, floating entity that emerged from the rift between dimensions to study, catalogue, and ultimately deconstruct the mortal world. Unlike the mindless hunger of Cho'Gath or the predatory evolution of Kha'Zix , Vel'Koz approaches Runeterra with cold, alien curiosity.
