Anivia: Champion Spotlight
Overview The Anivia Champion Spotlight is an official gameplay preview for League of Legends, released in April 2010. The spotlight introduces the Cryophoenix, an ancient demi-god of the Freljord . The Champion Anivia is a primordial spirit of the Freljord, a being of elemental ice who has watched over the frozen north since the world was young. Like the land itself, she embodies a perpetual cycle of death and rebirth — her egg-form granting her an immortality that is intrinsically tied to the health of the Freljord. When the land suffers, so does she; when it thrives, so does her power.
